 Humane Education  

HUMANE EDUCATION:  The Lifebridge Humane Education Program is a values based program that focuses on pillars of character such as kindness, respect, responsibility, fairness and compassion toward animals, the environment and each other, as well as the basic principles of right and wrong.  

FORMAT:  Not only is humane education taught incorporating important character traits, each lesson is presented in a format that addresses necessary academic standards such as language arts, science and math. 

The Lifebridge for Animals humane education program is off and running! In light of the upcoming Presidential Election, our first topic of the year has focused on citizenship.  More specifically, students have been learning what it means to be a good citizen.  Whether at home, school, or out and about, being a good citizen applies to our relationships with each other, the environment and the animals who depend on us to meet their needs!  It is important for both people and pets to be good citizens!
