REMEMBER: More than 600,000 puppies and kittens are born every day, compared to 10,000 human births each day. Simple math shows that there simply aren't enough homes for them all. As a result many animals will live miserable lives as strays being forced to try and make it on their own instead of being cared for and loved. Statistics also show as many as 6-8 million dogs and cats are entering shelters each year. As many as 3-4 million dogs and cats are being euthanized in these shelters evey year.
