BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Steve Pike
Executive Director

Steve is a 1974 graduate of Campbellsville University. He has been employed by Parker Kalon since 1979 and teaches business classes at Campbellsville University.  Steve is married, has one daughter and two grandsons. His hobbies include home improvement projects, kayaking, bicycling and camping.  He is also active in the Campbellsville Emmaus Community.


Anna Cox

Anna is a 2003 graduate of Campbellsville High School and is continuing her education at Campbellsville in Business Administration.  She is married with two growing sons.  Her hobbies include computer games, reading and working as a volunteer with local animal rescue sites.


Jeanie Petrik

Jeanie is a 1963 graduate of Laramie High School in Laramie, Wyoming. Jeanie moved to Kentucky in 1988. Jeanie is married, enjoys time spent with her three grandchildren, and after being a paralegal for several years, now works as a medical transcriptionist. She is a devoted animal advocate, an avid reader, and enjoys working with flowers.  Jeanie has been actively involved with the TNR program for feral cats for the last six years.


  Peg Schaeffer 

Peg is the owner of Sugarfoot Farm Rescue in Columbia, KY, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.  She owns several horses including quarter horses, thoroughbreds, paints, ponies, and miniature horses.  She rides hunter/jumper in the A rated circuit and has started eventing and cross country.

LIFEBRIDGE FOR ANIMALS, INC.  is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit animal advocacy organization dedicated to promoting kindness and respect for animals. Our purpose is to raise greater awareness as to the seriousness of pet overpopulation and the plight facing domestic animals. We will promote humane education in elementary schools and other organizations, and offer financial assistance with spaying and neutering to help reduce the number of homeless pets.


 A MESSAGE FROM OUR BOARD: Your tax deductible donation to Lifebridge for Animals will allow us to maximize funding for educational resource materials, promote spay/neuter initiatives to reduce the number of homeless pets, and keep our programs moving forward. Lifebridge can't do it alone! We need your support! Overcrowding in shelters promotes the spread of disease, leading to suffering and death. Spaying/neutering in conjunction with education is the only way to solve the problem of pet overpopulation and put an end to homelessness. Help us put an end to the suffering!
